So nice to meet you...
Hello! My name is Heather Conley and I’m so excited to meet
you! I will be at Mark Twain School in Alton on Mondays
and Wednesdays working with Mrs. D’Amore-Krug. This
year will be my second year of graduate school at
SIUE in Art Therapy Counseling. My favorite art mediums
are ceramics and sculpture, but I love to make art of
all kinds. When I’m not making art, I’m usually watching
movies with my husband and pets or visiting my family
and friends back in Kentucky. I’m looking forward to
getting to know all the teachers and staff and helping

Ms. Kayla Grobe
Hello, my name is Kayla Grobe, and I am currently a second year Art Therapy Counseling Masters student at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. I am from Northern Illinois originally, but completed my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in studio art at SIUe in 2016. After graduation I returned to my hometown and began working as a Crisis Clinician in the local Community Mental Health center. After two years of this work I decided it was time to return to school to follow my dreams of becoming an Art Therapist.
In the past I have had the honor of being an Art Enrichment intern at St. Louis Children’s Hospital during my time in undergrad, and again last year at a Head Start center in East St. Louis. Now in my second year of graduate school, I am excited to spend the 2019-2020 school year at both Alton Middle and High school!
