A Message from the Alton School District Art Therapists

Parents and students:

Thank you for visiting our page.  By now it is clear how different our upcoming days will be, and we are hopeful to support everyone through this format as well as other ways as we learn our district’s plan for the best ways to reach everyone in the weeks to come.

We want to validate the variety of feelings everyone is having from enjoying time home to missing seeing friends or teachers at school, to worry about how everyone might be affected.  We hope this page is a place you can return to and find some resources that are helpful and also fun to make your home learning a little more doable.  While we are dividing the resources by age groups, feel free to explore all pages and enjoy what works for you or your child.

Students currently getting art therapy services:  While we hope to have more info soon about ways we can support you while we are away from school, you are always welcome to email us and we will get back as soon as we are able.
